Terms of Service
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Recompete (“Service”), operated by Alamai Info Ventures Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Recompete surfaces information about U.S. federal contracts that are approaching the end of their current performance period and likely to be re-competed. Underlying contract data is sourced from USAspending.gov and is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any record, and you should independently verify information on SAM.gov or other official sources before relying on it for business decisions.
3. Accounts
You access the Service by associating an email address with your usage. You are responsible for the email address you use and for any activity under it. The Service is intended for business use; you may not share paid access with users outside your organization.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
- Paid plans (“Pro”) are billed monthly at the rate published on our pricing page and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. By subscribing you also accept Paddle’s terms and privacy policy.
- We may offer a free trial (currently 5 days, no credit card required). One trial is permitted per email address. After the trial ends, your account reverts to the free tier unless you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time from the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change. We will give reasonable notice of any change before it affects your next renewal.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond features we explicitly provide (such as CSV export);
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data to third parties as a substitute for them subscribing themselves;
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service;
- use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, opportunity-scoring methodology, and aggregated presentation of contract data, is owned by Alamai Info Ventures Pvt Ltd. Underlying contract records originate from public U.S. government sources and are not our property. You retain ownership of search criteria, saved searches, and other inputs you create.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be accurate or complete. Federal procurement decisions should not be made solely on the basis of information surfaced by the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing access. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or harm to us or other users. On termination, the provisions that by their nature survive — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example, via the email address associated with your account or a notice on the Service) before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Contact
