Recompete is operated by Alamai Info Ventures Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we handle when you use the service and the choices you have. We do not sell personal information.

• Account information. The email address you use to sign up, log in, or start a trial, plus the search criteria and preferences you save.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your billing details directly. We receive only what we need to manage your subscription, such as status and renewal date.
• Usage information. Basic technical and usage data (such as request logs and aggregate page views) needed to operate the service, monitor performance, and detect abuse.

• To provide the service and authenticate you.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails — saved-search alerts, trial reminders, billing receipts, and account notices.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the service.

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service — principally Paddle (payments and merchant of record), and reputable hosting, database, and email-delivery providers. Each is contractually bound to use the information only on our behalf. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. You can clear them from your browser at any time.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support reactivation and recordkeeping. You can request deletion at any time.

You can access, update, or delete your information by emailing us from the address associated with your account. You can cancel your subscription from the customer portal, and you can stop alerts by removing the relevant saved search.

Recompete is operated from India. Our hosting and processing providers are based outside India and may store and process information in other regions. By using the service you consent to that transfer, subject to the safeguards each provider has in place.

If you are an Indian resident, your information is handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You may exercise the rights available under that Act — including access, correction, and erasure — by contacting us at the address below.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, and rely on managed providers for storage and transmission. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
